Whatever repeatedly captures your attention eventually shapes your thoughts, your desires, your standards, your relationships, and your future.

You do not get to spend years pointing your mind at garbage and then act surprised when your life starts drifting in garbage directions.

If your best cognitive energy is fragmented across inputs that have nothing to do with the person you claim you want to become, then don’t be surprised when your life ends up similarly fragmented and off course.
